Villa Antigua® Border Heritage Museum Celebrates Tenth Anniversary
Laredo, Texas –The Villa Antigua® Border Heritage Museum, a program of the Webb County Heritage Foundation, will celebrate ten years of operation as a showcase for changing exhibits and events featuring the history and culture of the binational border region. The celebration and public reception on December 13th at 6 p.m. will bring together representatives from county, city, and state government as well as partner organizations, corporate citizens, philanthropists, and community members who helped turn this dream into a reality. The public is cordially invited to attend.
Featured that evening will be an exhibit showing the history of the museum’s transformation from a building slated for demolition into a spectacular example of downtown economic revitalization through historic preservation.
Also that evening, the museum will also be hosting the exhibit of entries from the 2017 Historic Laredo Calendar Photo Competition, with prizes awarded to the top three winning entries.
