Andrea Ordoñez - Director of OperationsAndrea Ordoñez has been part of the Webb County Heritage Foundation for 17 years, beginning as a part-time museum assistant and now serving as Director of Operations. Throughout her career, she has remained dedicated to historic education, heritage tourism, and preservation, while also focusing on creating meaningful connections with the community. Andrea is committed to making local history accessible and engaging for all, and continues to lead efforts that celebrate and preserve the cultural legacy of Laredo and Webb County. When she’s not at work, you can find her behind a camera, editing videos, hanging out at her favorite coffee shops and restaurants with friends, or spending time with her family and her dog, Totino. Edwardo Garcia- Museums ManagerWith over 17 years of dedication, Edwardo “Lalo” Garcia has been the creative force of the Border Heritage Museum. As museum manager, tour guide, and in-house media producer, Lalo brings local history to life through engaging exhibits and original video projects that help share the region’s cultural story. His passion for storytelling, design, and community shines through in everything he does. When he’s not at the museum, Lalo’s still creating, you’ll likely find him recording short videos, listening to music, making beats, playing chess, or coming up his next big idea. Lupita Valdepeña - Archives AssistantIn her three years with the Webb County Heritage Foundation, Lupita Valdepeña has become an invaluable part of the team. Based out of Houston, she handles a wide range of administrative duties with precision and care. Her strong organizational skills and attention to detail help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Leonardo Ordoñez - RRG Museum assistantLeonardo Ordoñez joined the Webb County Heritage Foundation team in 2024 after first volunteering his time and talents with the organization. A 2014 graduate of Texas A&M University, he is now the Museum Assistant at the Republic of the Rio Grande Museum, where he supports daily operations, welcomes visitors, and assists with special events and programs. In his free time, Leo enjoys cycling, photography, making music, keeping up with Formula 1, and spending time with his rescue dog, Athena. |

KARINA DELGADOKarina Delgado is a Laredo native and TAMIU alumni (B.S. Biology '19).
As a current graduate student at Texas State University, she is proud to
be supporting the Webb County Heritage Foundation by developing engaging
learning experiences for the city's youth while integrating cutting-edge
educational technology. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time
with family and fiends, and social Latin dancing. |
