Laredo to Celebrate 270th Birthday on May 17, 2025
A Community Celebration of Culture, History, and Heritage

LAREDO, TX — The Webb County Heritage Foundation is proud to announce Laredo’s 270th Birthday Celebration, to be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025. This milestone event honors Laredo’s founding in 1755, making it older than the United States, and celebrates nearly three centuries of rich history, culture, and community pride.

Hosted by the WCHF and made possible through the support of numerous local partners, the celebration promises a full day of festivities for residents and visitors alike. Everyone is invited to gather in downtown Laredo for a vibrant showcase of the city’s heritage and spirit.
