Kick off the celebration with a performance by Martin High School’s Tigres del Sur Mariachi, followed by a birthday cake cutting sponsored by Los Pasteles Bakery and H-E-B.

Stick around for hands-on fun and local history. Print your own tote with Tu Casa Gráfica, learn about Fort McIntosh with Laredo College, and explore the Luciano Guajardo Historical Collection with the Laredo Public Library.

The Imaginarium of South Texas will be on-site with their critters and family-friendly activities, and the Laredo Convention and Visitors Bureau will be selling official Laredo merch.

Celebrate Laredo’s birthday in nature! Join MMAS for their final bird hike of the season and discover the birds and habitats that are part of our region’s natural history. The walk will be from The Outlet Shoppes to the Laredo Water Museum along the Rio Grande Vega Trail.

End the day with a Laser Show at San Agustin Cathedral, sponsored by the Laredo Cultural District, Webb County Historical Commission, Mellon Foundation, Daphne Art Foundation, Laredo Center for the Arts, Killam Development, Laredo Film Society and Gabriela Mendoza Garcia Ballet Folklorico.
